Overview of Supported Yealink Devices
The Yealink W60B base is no longer supported by bOnline as it has reached its end-of-life status. To ensure uninterrupted service, users are advised to transition to the Yealink W70B base, which is the recommended replacement. The W70B base is fully supported and can be configured for service with bOnline.
Transitioning to the W70B Base
If you are currently using the W60B base, it is essential to upgrade to the W70B base to maintain compatibility and support. Remove previous base station from customer portal. Once you have acquired the W70B base station add to the customer portal and follow the steps below to register your Yealink handset.
Step-by-Step Guide to Register a Handset to the W70B Base
On the Handset: - Navigate to Settings > Registration (or Settings > VoIP > Register Handset depending on your handset model). - Select the option to "Register Handset."
On the Base: - Press and hold the Registration/Pair button on the W70B base until the registration LED starts blinking.
On the Handset: - The handset will display a list of detected bases. Select the W70B base, identified by its MAC address. - When prompted for a PIN, enter 0000 (default PIN unless it has been changed).
Confirm Registration: - Wait for the handset to display a success message indicating that the registration is complete.
By following these steps, you can seamlessly transition to the W70B base and ensure your Yealink handset is properly registered and functional.
