5G ZTE MC888 router lights and interface

Indicator lights

1. Signal

  • On: three lights show the signal strength. More lights on means a stronger signal.

  • Off: there is no signal or no nano-SIM card inserted.​

2. Network

  • Red: the device is powered on but not registered to the mobile network.

  • Blue solid: the device is registered or connected to the 4G mobile network.

  • White solid: the device is registered or connected to the 5G network

3. Wi-Fi

  • On: Wi-Fi is working normally.

  • Blinking: WPS is activating.

  • Off: Wi-Fi is off.

4. Power

  • On: the device is powered on.

  • Off: the device is powered off.

Ports and buttons

5. WPS key

  • Press to activate the WPS function and connect devices without a password.

6. Phone port

  • Connect a telephone here.

7. LAN ports

  • LAN1: connect to the WAN in cable broadband mode.

  • LAN2: connect to a PC.

8. Power port

  • Connect to the power adapter here.

9. Nano-SIM card slot and reset hole

  • Card slot: insert your nano-SIM card here.

  • Reset hole: press and hold for approximately 2 seconds using a pointed object to restore the device to factory settings.
