A change of tenancy occurs when a new tenant wishes to take over ownership of your bOnline contract. This article explains how the process works and what you need to do.

How Does a Change of Tenancy Affect My Service?

Your bOnline service will not be interrupted during a change of tenancy. The bOnline team will update your account details to reflect the new owner once the process is complete.

How to Transfer Your Contract to a New Tenant

  1. Contact the bOnline support team to start the transfer process.

  2. Provide the new tenant's contact details. A mandatory phone call is required where both the current account holder and the new tenant must be present. During this call, the current account holder will need to pass security checks and agree to the terms of the transfer, while the new tenant must accept the terms and conditions of the account transfer.

  3. Once all details have been confirmed, the transfer will be completed within 24 to 48 hours. At this point, the new tenant assumes full responsibility for the account.
