Yes - you can purchase a 5G broadband plan even if your area currently only has 4G coverage. Once 5G becomes available in your area, your router will automatically connect to the 5G network.
Please note: While on 4G, speeds will be lower than 5G and may differ from fibre broadband speeds. Use the coverage checkers in our Guide to 4G and 5G Business Broadband to check when 5G is expected in your area.Related Articles
