Place your router near a window. Try a few different windowsills to find which direction gives you the strongest signal.

Check the signal lights on the front of your router. The more lights showing, the stronger the signal.

Keep the router away from obstacles such as walls, doors, refrigerators and fish tanks, which can all reduce your signal strength.
