Learn how to start a 3-way conference call using the Merge feature in the bOnline desktop app. Add up to 10 participants in a few simple steps.

The bOnline desktop app lets you merge active calls into a single conference line using the Merge feature. This article explains how to set up a 3-way call and add further participants when needed.

How to set up a 3-way conference call

  1. Dial the first person's number or answer an incoming call to establish an active call.

  2. While on the call, click Make a call in the top-left of the screen.

  3. Enter the number or extension of the second participant and click the dial button.

  4. Once the second participant answers and the call is connected, click Merge at the bottom of the screen.

The two calls will now be combined into a single conference line.

Note: the Merge button will only become visible once you've successfully connected with the other person.

Adding more participants

To add another person, follow the same process: make the call and wait for it to be connected, then click Merge on that contact — they will also be added to the conference call. You can add up to 10 participants in total.
