Blind vs Indirect Transfer

How to perform blind (direct) and indirect (attended) call transfers on the bOnline desktop and mobile apps.

Here's how you can do a blind transfer and an attended transfer on both the desktop and mobile app.

Desktop

Blind transfer

Use the straight arrow to transfer directly: this sends the current call straight to the new caller without speaking first.

  1. Place a call on hold: while on a call, place it on hold using call options.

  2. Transfer and enter extension: click Transfer and enter the extension or number.

  3. Complete blind transfer: click the Blind Transfer button.

Indirect transfer

Indirect transfer is also known as attended transfer. Use the curved arrow to transfer with attended: this allows you to speak to the new caller first before connecting them.

  1. Transfer and return to call: speak to the extension or number first before transferring the first call.

  2. Confirm call: confirm sending the call to the user.

Mobile

Here's how you can do a blind and attended transfer on the mobile app.

Blind transfer

  1. Choose your contact.

  2. Make your call: after making your first call, tap the button with three dots.

  3. Blind transfer: select the blind transfer option.

Attended transfer
