What happens when you cancel your direct debit?

Modified on Tue, 13 Feb 2024 at 04:25 AM

When you cancel your bOnline direct debit with your bank, we receive a failed notification when we try to settle your balance via direct debit.

On each failed attempt, bOnline incurs a charge for this, as well as, diverts resources to chase for payment and re-instate direct debits.

An administrative fee of £20 is added to your invoice to cover such costs.

At bOnline, we are proud to be able to offer the lowest prices in the UK. However, we cannot do this if we have to incur extra costs to take payments.

To get your direct debit set back up is very simple! Contact your bank and ask them to reinstate the direct debit. Then let us know so we can resubmit your direct debit payment.
