Understanding bOnline's daily billing Cycle

Modified on Fri, 20 Mar at 8:16 AM

bOnline uses a daily billing model for new customers. This means your billing cycle is aligned to the exact day your service goes live, not a fixed calendar date. There are no pro-rata charges, no partial months, and no confusing adjustments.

When does billing start?

Your billing starts on the day your service goes live.

  • There are no pro-rata charges.
  • Your billing cycle is aligned to your go-live date from day one.
  • This gives you a clean, consistent cycle every month.

When will I receive my first invoice?

  • Your invoice is generated one day after your go-live date.
  • The invoice is dated to match your go-live date.
  • Your rental product is billed monthly in advance.
  • Usage charges are billed in arrears.

Example: If your service goes live on 1 May, your invoice is generated on 2 May and dated 1 May.

When is payment taken?

Payment is collected 10 days after your invoice date. This gives you time to review your invoice before payment is taken.

  • Direct Debit is collected 10 days after your invoice date.
  • Recurring Card Payment is collected 10 days after your invoice date.

Example: If your service goes live on 1 May, your invoice is dated 1 May and payment is collected on 10 May.

What if I started on a trial?

If you started on a bOnline trial, your billing begins once you upgrade to a paid plan.

  • Your billing cycle is aligned to the day your trial ends and your service becomes active.
  • Your invoice follows the same rules as above.
  • Payment is collected 10 days after your invoice date, whether you pay by Direct Debit or Recurring Card.
