How to set up temporary call diverts

Modified on Wed, 1 Apr at 7:57 AM

A temporary call divert redirects all incoming calls to a different phone number. This guide explains how to set up and disable a temporary divert in the MybOnline portal.

Please note: A temporary call divert overrides any call flow on your account. Callers will be redirected to the divert number without hearing any welcome greeting or menu prompts.

How to set up a temporary call divert

  1. Log in to the MybOnline portal and select Phone Settings from the left-hand menu.
  2. Select Call Flows.

The Phone Settings page with the Call Flows tab highlighted.
  3. Select Temporary Divert.

Once the divert is active, a banner will appear across your screen. You can disable the divert from this banner at any time.

Things to know

  • A temporary divert is a direct divert. It does not go through any call flow on your account.
  • Diverting to an external number creates an outbound call each time. Call charges may apply based on your tariff.
