This article explains how to reset your broadband router. A reset can resolve internet connectivity issues such as no connection, slow speeds, or unstable wireless performance. Follow the instructions for your router model below.
Zyxel VMG1312-T20B
- Make sure your router is plugged in and powered on.

- Locate the Power button on the back or bottom of your router.

- Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds, then release it.
- Wait for the router to power back on.
Zyxel VMG3925-B10B
- Make sure your router is plugged in and powered on.

- Locate the Reset button on the back or bottom of your router.

- Using a paperclip, press and hold the Reset button for 30 seconds, then release it.
- Wait for the router to power back on.
Technicolor TG588V V2
- Make sure your router is plugged in and powered on.

- Locate the Reset button on the back or bottom of your router.

- Using a paperclip, press and hold the Reset button until the power goes off, then release it.
- Wait for the router to power back on.
Please note: Resetting your router can also clear its memory, which is helpful if you have multiple devices connected or an older router. It is good practice to reset your router approximately every 2 months.Related Articles
