Setting your caller ID preference in the mobile app

Modified on Mon, 8 Jul at 11:00 AM

You can set a caller ID to display when making outgoing calls. Caller ID preferences are stored separately on each device. It means there's no synchronisation between mobile and web applications, so you'll need to set these preferences on each platform.

Choices are globally the same across a customer, except direct numbers that are based on the user:

  • Main number: Public number of the business, available to all users of a customer

  • Anonymous: Ability to make an anonymous call

  • Preset: Default option, which lets the system choose the caller ID based on outgoing call rules.

To set your caller ID via the dialler:

  • From the dialler, at the bottom of the number keys, click on 'Caller ID'.

  • Choose between the choices provided.

  • You can see the caller ID you selected when calling an external number.

To set your caller ID via 'Settings':

  • Click on 'My Profile' at the top-right of the page.

  • Select the 'Caller ID' option.

  • Choose between the choices provided.

  • You can see the caller ID you selected when returning to your profile/settings page.
