Setting up your voicemail and hold music

Create a voicemail greeting for out-of-hours callers and set up default or customised hold music for your business.

In this video, we'll show you how to create a voicemail greeting that callers will hear when calling your business out of hours.

While on hold, callers will hear music which you can choose to use the default or to customise, we'll show you how to set this up too. Find the step-by-step help article here.

How to update your voicemail message

  1. Log in to the mybOnline Portal.

  2. Select Phone Setting from the left-hand menu, then Phone Setup.

  3. Select the Voicemail tab (next to Holiday Schedule and Hold Music & Announcements).

  4. Under Company Voicemail Greetings, click Edit next to the existing greeting.

  5. Update the message using Text to Speech, Record, or Upload — the same options used for Welcome and Closed greetings — then Save.

  6. Optional: turn on Send Voicemail to Company Email if you'd also like voicemails emailed to you.
