Why Am I Not Receiving Call Notifications on the bOnline App?

If incoming calls are reaching the bOnline app but you are not seeing or hearing notifications, the issue is likely related to your device settings. This article explains how to check and fix notification settings so you are alerted when a call comes in.

1. Check notification permissions

If notifications are disabled on your device, calls may reach the app without alerting you.

Go to your device's Settings and find the bOnline app.
Ensure notifications are enabled.
Allow sound, banners, and lock-screen notifications.

2. Set banner style to persistent (iPhone)

On iPhone, the default banner style is Temporary, which means the notification disappears quickly and you may miss it.

Go to Settings > Notifications on your iPhone.
Find and select the bOnline app.
Set Banner Style to Persistent.

This keeps the call notification on screen until you respond to it.

3. Disable battery optimisation

Some devices restrict apps from running in the background, which can prevent call notifications from appearing.

Go to your device's Settings > Battery (or Battery optimisation).
Find the bOnline app and set it to Do not optimise (or Unrestricted).
Ensure the app is allowed to run in the background.

4. Check your availability status

If your status is set to Do Not Disturb or Unavailable, incoming calls will not ring on your app. Open the bOnline app and set your status to Available.

5. Restart the app

Close the bOnline app completely and reopen it. This refreshes the app's connection and can resolve notification issues.
