How to set up your Yealink T31P IP Phone

Your Yealink T31P is a reliable, business-grade VoIP phone designed to work seamlessly with bOnline's network right out of the box. With just a few simple connections, you’ll be up and running in minutes, no tech expertise needed. 



Assembly Steps:

  • Attach the Stand

    • Align the stand with the back of the phone.

    • Snap it in at your preferred angle (40° or 45°).

    • Optional: Use wall-mount slots if you plan to wall-mount.

  • Connect the Handset

    • Plug one end of the handset cord into the handset.

    • Plug the other end into the Handset port on the back of the phone.

  • (Optional) Connect a Headset

    • Plug your headset into the Headset port.



  • Connect to Network & Power

    • Option A: Power over Ethernet (PoE)

      • Connect the Ethernet cable from the Internet port to a PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch or injector.

      • No power adapter needed.

    • Option B: Standard Power + Ethernet

      • Plug the Ethernet cable into the Internet port and connect to your network.

      • Plug the power adapter into the DC input and connect it to a wall socket.



Power Up & Initialisation:

  • The phone will boot automatically and begin initialising.

  • Once ready, it’ll display the home screen for setup or provisioning.
