Getting started with your Yealink W73H + W70B

This article explains how to set up your Yealink W70B base station, assemble the W73H handset, and pair them together for use with bOnline.

Assemble the W73H Handset

  1. Slide the battery into the compartment at the back of the handset.
  2. Secure it with the battery cover.
  3. Snap the belt clip onto the rear of the handset (optional).

Connect the Charging Cradle

  1. Connect the power adapter to the cradle and plug it into a wall socket.
  2. Place the handset into the cradle to begin charging.

Wall-Mount the Cradle (Optional)

  1. Align two mounting screws 38 mm apart on the wall.
  2. Hang the cradle securely using the slots on the back.

Connect the W70B Base Station

There are two ways to power the base station:

Option A: AC Power and Ethernet

  1. Connect the power adapter to the base station and plug it into a wall socket.
  2. Connect an ethernet cable from the base station to your router or network switch.

Option B: Power over Ethernet (PoE)

  1. Connect an ethernet cable from the base station to a PoE-compatible hub or switch.
  2. No power adapter is needed with this option.

You can use the stand for desktop placement, or mount the base station to the wall using screws spaced 59 mm apart.

Pair the Handset with the Base Station

On the base station:

  1. Press the paging button on the W70B until the registration LED starts blinking.

On the handset:

  1. Go to Menu > Settings > Registration > Register Handset.
  2. Select W70B from the list.
  3. Enter the PIN 0000 (default).

When the registration LED on the base station turns solid and the handset shows a signal icon, the pairing is complete.
