How to set up the Yealink W70B Base Station with a compatible handset

Need to get your Yealink W70B up and running? This guide walks you through powering it on, connecting it to your network, and registering a handset like the W73H in just a few minutes.

Quick Setup & Register (W70B Base + Handset):

• Connect the Base Station

  • Option A: Use the included power adapter + Ethernet cable.

  • Option B (PoE): Use only the Ethernet cable if your switch supports Power over Ethernet (PoE).

• Mount the Base (Optional)

  • Use the stand for desktop placement, or mount to the wall (59mm screw spacing).

• Power On + Enter Registration Mode

  • Wait for the W70B to power up.

  • Press the Paging key on the base until the Registration LED starts flashing.

• Register the Handset

  • On the handset, press OK > Register Handset.

  • Select the base from the list and press OK again to pair.

• Confirm Success

  • All three LEDs on the base should be solid green once registration is complete.
